How do i clean my P3500S printer when I change the ink?

What does this mean? "ink roller". I''ve never have never heard the term. Does you mean ink ribbon roll? Why would you need to clean anything with that type?

You could clean the black ink cartridge. For this you need to remove the black ink cartridge which is present in the printer. In order to clean the laser or scanner block you could use a cotton swab as it would fully clean the dirt. You need to clean the grime and the dried ink present in the printer. This would remove all the hindrances which prevent the ink from flowing. Cleaning the printer heads would also help to solve the problem.

microsoft logo is in colour and so its printing while everything else on test page is black so its not printing. the problem is common.you need to do automatic deep cleaning for the ink flow to start once you install new cartridges.go to printer maintanance option and click the option deep cleaning .it will pull out the ink in printer head and it will start working.sometimes also requires cleaning twice. thanks and do not forget to accept the solution.

After you have run at least 3 consecutive cleaning cycles and replaced the affected ink cartridge(s) with genuine Epson inks,your printer will require service.

I found a solution at another forum. I have the same printer with the same problem. What you need to do is put some electrical tape on the colour cartridges to stop the printer from sensing the ink level. I put tape on the clear plastic ridge on the back end of the cartridge and this allowed me to print from the black ink cartridge even though the colour ones were empty. I used black tape which i think would work best.

I am also going to leave the printer off until i need it so that it doesn't waste the ink by doing random cleaning at all times of the day.
