That is not something that can be done by calculator. Do all the operations to get a result. Look at the number of significant figures in each number in the chain of operations. Keep the least number of significant figures. The result of a calculation cannot be more precise than the least precise of its components.

My niece exhange the calculator. txs a lot anyway.

Hello,
It may be due to the angle unit used. You can have angles in
degrees, in radians, and in grads. You should set the default angle
unit to waht you problem calls for.
To set degree as default SHIFT MODE 3
To set radians as default SHIFT MODE 4
To set grads as default SHIFT MODE 5
The
values of angles calculated by the inverse trigonometric functions are
in the default unit that is set . This may be the source of the wrong
answers that you get.
Hope it helps.

Hello,
Press [SHIFT][MODE][6:Fix] and press a numbetr between
(0--9). The number you select will be the number of decimal places your
results have. However if a result is smaller than 0.001 it will be in scientific notation.
Hope it helps.

- Your question is not clear. What is regular math equation? When you
talk about scientific and engineering notation, the reader assumes you
have a problem with these and shows you how to recover the "regular"
display format , the "normal" format.
Since that is not what ails
the calculator, I am going to assume you want to go back to the MathIO
input format that allows you manipulate fractions and radicals and logs
in bases other than 10 and e. To get that mode
Press [SHIFT][MODE][1:MathIO]
If
on the other hand, you want the input format that is prevalent in the
previous generation of scientific calculators, namely the LineIO, then
you restore it by pressing
[SHIFT][MODE[2:LineIO].
If that does not answer your question, then what is your question?

it should...
it can be found by SHIFT then MODE then SCI is the one you want to choose
SOURCE: I am working on algebra
You can set the number display mode to be SCI. Press [SHIF][MODE] and look for the number to the right of which is written SCI. Enter that number. You may be asked to specify the number of digits after the decimal mark 0 tilda 9. Select an appropriate number and enter the corresponding key.
If you want to ENTER numbers in scientific format, enter them the usual way. When you arrive to the power of 10 press the [x 10^X] key, followed by the exponent. Use the change sign key (-) to enter a negative exponent.
