There must be a hardware fault it could be that your system won't support your hardware configuration or it could be the heating problem... you better take your PC to an computer engineer
Testimonial: "absolutely, heating problem is right... i found silicon paste that conducts cpu to heatsink dries."
get the coolent paste from the nearest store and apply it over the prcessor after removing the processor fan and fix the fan back to it properly and then start your system. in case it doesn't work you gotta take it to the computer expert, he could help you with the solutionget the coolent paste from the nearest store and apply it over the prcessor after removing the processor fan and fix the fan back to it properly and then start your system. in case it doesn't work you gotta take it to the computer expert, he could help you with the solution

Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail. A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust. Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.
The problem most likely a thermal overload, the CPU shuts down when it over heats and will not boot up again until it has cooled down. If this problem is not fixed the the CPU will eventually fail. This problem is usually caused by a faulty CPU fan. Replace the faulty fan and remove the dust from the heat sink
If the laptop shuts down and won't boot up until it has cooled down, then the CPU is overheating and goes into thermal shutdown. This is caused by either a faulty fan or the fan and heatsink assembly is clogged with dust.
If this is not fixed then eventually the CPU will fail completely.
Check the fan to see if it spins freely if not then replace the fan.
If the fan and heatsink is clogged with dust then remove the dust from the fan and heatsink fins.
If the CPU fan speed is too slow or not working at all, the computer will shut itself off automatically to prevent damage to CPU from overheating. You may end up having to throw more money at the problem and get a new fan. I went to Compaq's web site, looked up your particualr computer, found out what type of fan you needed, and I did some research. I recommend getting the fan in the following link. It's very cheap, and has good reviews. The other fans on the site all have bad reviews. Hope this helps.
Turn the computer off.
If it is a HP laptop, remove the battery.
Disconnect the AC power.
Buy a can of compressed air, and give your computer a "blow-job",
to blow all the dust away from the heat-sink on top of the CPU,
and also, if it is a desktop, from inside the power-supply.
A layer of dust is a layer of insulation, preventing the heat-sink on top of the CPU from "radiating" the heat away from the CPU. So, your motherboard is detecting that your CPU is "too hot", and automatically speeds-up the cooling fan, to try to move the heat.
fan always start working when u switch on the laptop, then it stop because it monitor your cpu temprature if CPU temp is blow the level of heating then it stay stop and if it exceed the limit of cooling then fan automatically start to just kick out heat of CPU, so it is normal, but tell me did u get display when fan switch off? let me know
check the cpu fan it is not working properly need clean sometime full of dast that why always became heat. epected of overheating is automatically shut down...
repair you cpu fan disasimble you laptop then check the cpu fan
Remove case side and clean out ALL fans then remove fan from heatsink DO NOT remove heatsink (probably stuck on CPU) clean all fluff and dust from heatsink. Use a stiff brush and vacuum cleaner on power supply fan area then vacuum out case include all vent holes and behind power supply. test start.should be OK
Todays CPU fans are set to automatically up their RPMs if the processor overheats or is overtaxed. But the trick is when the fan itself is not cooling enough but rotates and makes this sound like a heicopter. Since you see it turning, you may not realise its cooling is poor. The best and long last solution is get a brand new fan and install it. The baby will stop crying.
