look on the inside of the toe kick at front bottom or just inside front bottom and you will find a tech sheet that will give you error codes.

Our manual says it can take our freezer up to 48 hours to get back to the correct temperature. I found that to be the case when we loaded it fully for the first time.

That noise is typical when the compresor is trying to start but it doesn't , it could be the condensing fan motor that doesn't work and the compresor goes off on overload ; a common problem with this compresors is the relay (mounted at the side of the compresor behind a black plastic cover) goes bad , this you can replace is about $20 , and if still the compresor won't start you will need to put another one and this is an expensive job.

Make sure the evaporator coils behind the rear cover inside the freezer are not iced up too much.
This would indicate a defrost problem and will get worse.
If the compressor is still cycling off and on the cold control could be at fault.
