Could either be the drum rollers or the idler pulley have to remove the drum the idler pulley is the one that maintains tension on the drum belt

SOURCE: LOUD SQUEALING NOISE

Most likely the rear drum bearing is worn. There's a "ball and socket" arrangement that supports the drum at the rear and a repair kit for it. Part #5303281153. Should run around $25.fe7bd93.jpg

SOURCE: Sqeaky Neptune Dryer

Probably a slipping belt.  Either overloaded or the belt is drying out.

SOURCE: dryer louder than used to be, does it need service?

The belt may be worn and squealing because it is slipping.  When it warms up it stops slipping.  It will have to be replaced soon. A worn bearing on a support wheel could also cause intermittent noise.

Zanussi Lindo 1000 Condenser Dryer. Why has my machine started getting louder than normal.

Dry bearing and a slipping belt is the most likely reasons. A belt slipping causes vibration and squealing.

My Whirlpool Inglis Model IED4400SQ0 dryer just stopped. The fuse is fine. I think the problem might be in the start button but I'm not sure. I think this is it because the dryer stopped 2 days ago, then...

this doesn't have a board in it so you either have a bad timer or motor,i would think it would be the timer, try tapping on the timer with a screw driver or something light or wiggle the timer knob and see if it starts, also did you have this on timed dry?it sounds like the timer died and then somehow power went through it again and it ran,the timer controls how long the dryer will run so this is why i think it could be the timer,or a broken wire but try wiggling the knob and see if it starts.let me know thanks.

Dryer won't start or it starts and runs for a minute or two only

When it does start does it seem to hesitate or have a louder hum than normal upon startup? Please write back with the model number and I can further assist you. The vibration from the dryer being on could be disconnecting the power behind the plug in the wall. turn off breaker to that dryer and make sure connections are good to the outlet...I have seen this happen before. If it seems slow to start when it does start and make a hesitating humming sound before it gets going your motor maybe going on overload and shutting off. Therefore you would need a new motor....please let me know...
