The blower relay (called a fan relay) is stuck and must be replaced.
Want to do it your self? Trace the two power leads from the blower motor. usually white and black for high speed, White and red medium.
(Blue, purple and brown are capacitor colors)the white wire goes to the line side of the contactor. the black or red wire goes to the fan relay. This arrangement allows the blower to continue running for a minute after shut down to dry the cooling coils or complete the heating cycle. (Line side is where the incoming power wires connect)

Check your wiring between the contactor and compressor for a short to ground, or check the compressor windings for short to ground.
With the Tstat off, the contactor should be open so the only way for the compressor to be trying to do anything is if the 110 volts from the unbroken side are traveling through the compressor to ground. Since 110v is not enough to run it, the overload is kicking it out, cooling off, and repeating the cycle. When you kick on the Tstat, the contactor is supplying voltage directly to ground without going through the resistence of the compressor windings and kicking the breaker.
Post back and let me know what you find.

SOURCE: air conditioner was on yesterday

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. First thing to do is go to the furnace take off the lower blower door and locate the circuit board turn the power off to the furnace. In the circuit board there should ba a small car like fuse usually 3 or 5 amps check the fuse it is probably blown replace the fuse with the same amperage fuse and then turn the power back on on the furnace and check the operation of the furnace.

Air lock for my aruba spa hot tub how do i fix it

This sounds like a problem with the circuit board inside the spa control box.Do this:
  • Turn the breaker off
  • Unplug everything that is plugged into the circuit board i.e. the pump, heater coil, air blower, light etc.
  • Turn the breaker back on
If the circuit board stays on then you have to go thru the process of plugging one item at a time turning the breaker on then off to find the part that is bad.

Circuit unit behind the ac controls

sounds like your blower motor has stopped working check for power going to the blower system if you have power the blower is probably bad the concern is the lack of a fuse blowing or a breaker not cycling you may have a harness problem sometimes a low grade short will heat up wires then melt them together causing a multisystem failure even though a fuse or breaker didn't blow check you harness

My breaker is conected to a hot tub. tub was working fine in auto mode. Turned on jets and breaker tripped. will not reset can you help me

I am assuming this is a GFCI circuit breaker? If it is it will have a "test" button on the breaker. When you say "jets" i'm assuming you mean when you turn on the blower to make the air bubbles? It could be you have a problem with the blower motor. When you start the blower, it trips the breaker. Be sure the blower is in off position when you reset the breaker. The most common fault though on a spa/hot tub is with the heater. If the element goes bad, and current flows to ground, it will trip the GFCI breaker. Again try and turn all functions off. Reset breaker, and then turn on one at a time till the breaker trips. First the pump, then the heat, then the blower.

My heat and air conditioning wont blow out through the vents

Check the air handler to see if the blower is on. First check the circuit breaker which gives power to the blower.

If the condenser outside is not on, there is no power anywhere. Again, check the circuit breaker.

Also possible faulty thermostat.

when the room thermostat is satisfied it stops the heat by stopping power to the sequencer or contactor which is in series with the heating element/s...the TEMPERATURE OPERATED FAN SWITCH then takes over the blower until the heaters cool

Blower motor runs but dies out..

When it does this carefully feel the end of the blower motor. If it is too hot to touch,Replace the blower motor.
Your 5 minute off sequence allows the motor to cool enough for a restart.

I seem to have the same problem. But when I reset the breakers, they won't stay in the on position. They go back to the off position. What gives? It is 95F inside the house.
