Phonic 740plus. Can't get the 16 channel effects to work. All previous suggestions from Catherine didn't help. Do you have any other suggestions?

Yo, Ron

We are FIXYA dot com, we are not Phonic and neither is Catherine. We are just folks like you trying to help folks like you because we can. Yes, there is a Phonic category, but that is just good housekeeping here on the site.

How many volt , ac.or dc. for power supply phonic MM1202 mixer

I tells the power supply model numbers on the back of the unit above the power connector plug. It doesn't tell the specs as of how many amps but does describe several voltages of AC it would work on and also gives several model numbers of the correct power units that are sufficient. If you don't use one the recommended units, it could malfunction and give extra static noises caused by improper filtering of the power. It shows on page 8 of this manual:

Why do i have echo when i play music on my phonic powerpod 820 mixer

Visit this link to download the manual if you don't have it already. https://phonic.box.net/shared/crqxhlhmmz
This mixer has a multi-effects processor onboard, but the key is understanding the audio signal chain. There is a chance that you have your input audio going through an undesired effect, but without knowing your setup (input source, connections, mixer settings), it would be difficult to pinpoint the problem.

I have the Phonic powerpod 820. I ordered a Kuston powered floor monitor to add too the system. I know not to hook it up too the speaker outputs on the back of the mixer. So where do I hook up the powered...

You will plug an UNBALANCED 1/4 inplug cable into the MONI jack on the front of the unit. The other end will probably need to be an XLR plug to connect to the Kustom POWERED monitor. Please note that the UNBALANCED output of the Phonic is NOT good engineering practice. The Phonic stuff is normally low-end and they don't do everything correctely, although for a small system it should work. IF you get excessive hum from using a long cable to the Kustom with a "Kludged" unbalanced to balanced cable, you MAY need to use a DI box at the Phonic end to convert the unbalanced Phonic MONI output to a balanced line (XLR to XLR) for a longer run to the Kustom monitor. You might get a 1/4 inch TS to XLR balanced plug that has a transformer in it and use an XLR to XLR cable to the Kustom. Please note that having this plug in the Phonic hangs out and is easily bent over so I would recommend using a right angle connector at the Phonic and plug the 1/4 inch TS to XLR adaoter into that so the yanking of the XLR cable won't break the 1/4 inch adapter off in the Phonic.
