Question about JVC GR Video Cameras
I came across a similar question several months ago and ultimately got it solved. Here is the blog in which I found the answer. Converting AVCHD file to MP4 fileis a good option cause mp4 is the most popular format that nearly all devices can play it. But convert it to iPhone seems ok via the method in the blog. I did not try it. It may take place.

IPhone can not play AVCHD format directly. You may need to convert it first. Transfer videos from your digital camera to your computer, then convert AVCHD to mp4 or mov format. Last but not least, transfer videos to your iPhone via iTunes. How to Convert AVCHD to MP4 for Free
