Your dishwasher has been designed to use a liquid rinse aid. Pouring a liquid rinse aid into the proper recepticle in your dishwasher when you add dish detergent greatly improves drying performance. You can further improve drying performance by selecting the Sanitize option, in addition to the other options you've selected, and increasing the water temperature. For Best Results, use Jet-Dry Turbo
Spots and film form in your dishwasher's rinse cycle, when detergents are already down the drain. FINISH® JET-DRY® Rinse Agent works in the rinse cycle, lowering the surface tension of water and causing it to sheet. Better rinsing results in less spots and film.

It should be okay to use dry bleach, if you follow the instructions on the bleach. Some bleaches require dissolving in water first, others can be used dry.
Try running the hottest, longest programme WITH detergent but WITHOUT dishes. If you usually wash just a few dishes on a short programme, you might find that the machine never gets hot enough to wash away all the detergent residue.
Only dishwasher detergent can be used in a dishwasher. Some of them are liquids. Regular liquid detergents such as dish detergent or laundry detergent is too sudsy and it will make so many suds that they will be all of the dishes and the floor if used.
Using liquid detergent is the worst detergent to use. One possible solution to your problem could be as follows...pour 2 cups of vinegar in to the tub and run it on the hottest longest cycle with no dishes in it. May need to do this several times (3 to 4). This will clean the residue out and what ever "gunk" may be in the internal parts. Use Only powder detergent. No gel, no liquid and no tabs. These 2 cause a build-up over a period of time of use and reduce the performance of your machine. This should take care of your problem.
