You should have this checked out by a qualified repair person at a Sprint Nextel service & repair center. Many full service centers can repair the i880 on site or order an advanced exchange to replace the unit.

This happened with my phone too. What I did was I reset the whole phone and there are different ways to go about doing that depending on the phone. You can usually get that information from your provider. Sorry I am unable to specify that information. Once you reset the phone you should be able to use it.
