24/1 is the correct ratio. I certainly wouldn't go 50/1 but you could split the difference with a good synthetic.

Any Johnson outboard motor built since 1964 requires a 50/1 fuel ratio. Motors built prior to that date require a 32/1 ratio, with the exception of a few fishing motors built prior to 1955 that use a 16/1 ratio.

It's called a Formula or Formula of a compound.
H2O, NaCl, H2SO4, I believe that's what you're asking about.
H2O is 2 parts Hydrogen to 1 part Oxygen. (Water)
NaCl is 1 part Sodium to 1 part Chlorine (Salt)
H2SO4 is 2 parts hydrogen, 1 part Sulfur, 4 parts Oxygen (Sulfuric acid)

2 liters chemical / 8 liters of water = 10 liters of mixed solution.

40 to 1

40:1 is the standard mix. Go buy one of the little containers ( 3.2 ounces) of 2-cycle oil and mix it with a gallon of gas in an approved container (like a gas can). How you mix it is, pour some gas in the container...about 1/4 of the gallon, then pour in the oil, mix well, by shaking the can then add the remaining gasoline and PRESTO, you have a 40:1 mix!

The proper gas/oil ratio is 50:1, that is 50 parts gas, to one part (2) cycle oil.

If you plan on leaving gas in the tank when not being used, I always recommend adding some gas stabilizer, such as Sta-bil, which makes starting the chain saw easier regardless of how long the fuel mix has been sitting in the tank or saw (up to 2 years according to Sta-bil label)

Why not try white vinegar and water first, 50/50 mix. White vinegar is a mild acid, and it is a lot safer to use than acid. If you are going to use Muriatic acid ( "mild" version of Hydrochloric acid), then a good ratio is 1 part acid to 20 parts water. And Always add the acid to the water. You could make a stronger solution, 1part acid to 10 parts water, if needed. But be cautious with any ratio. Follow container directions. Wear eye protection ( an absolute must). Wear gloves, etc. This is dangerous stuff, and you can buy it at Home Depot or Lowes!
