Yes. It is most likely a lamp replacement issue.

Did your replace lamp come on the screen or did you lose picture? Just because the LED indicator suggest replace lamp it doesn't mean it needs it. If your pix was dull or loss of brightness then replace it, if not then just reset your lamp timer, check your owners manual for instructions.

There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WD-65733 no picture, electrical buzzes in series

What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you.

I have a 57" mitsubishi

You probably have a bad lamp again I hate to say. These lamp are so critical when being moved. If after you atttempt to power on TV then red light shows, press menu+input on the front panel and hold for 5 seconds. Front timer LED will blink a 2 digit error code five times then stop. Code 34 and 66 are lamp errors, and if you read code 66 the lamp is broken. Good luck

I replaced the lamp for TV but the orange light in front of TV is still blinking and I can not turn TV on.

kimhean,

It sounds like you may have to reset the lamp timer. Here is the procedure:

Hold down the two arrow buttons and the Power button on the control panel at the same time for 3 seconds. The status indicator will blink twice. The timer will be reset to zero hours.
