If you're refering to the item i have highlighted then remove the driveshaft from the plastic flexible liner, clean shaft, re-grease and replace. You'll probably fing the shaft has become dry and has rubbed, causing it to get hot. The plastic liner should not be spinning in the drive tube assembly so you may need to get a new 'flexible liner' that fits snug.

This sounds like the flexible drive shaft inside of the main shaft has a stripped ferrule. In order for you to fix this, you will have to take the main shaft off of the motor housing and pull the flexible shaft out of the inside. The replacement part number is 530056570 and should be about $12 to replace. Call the number on the unit to order replacement parts or go to your local sears.

It appears that you will need to contact the service center as in your parts diagram, the bag is not listed. A mulching blade is listed, which doesn't require the use of a bag.
