IF your LCD is flickering there are 2 possible causes: bad cap(s) in the power supply chain or (almost) died backlight's CCFLs. If you have enough knowledge/hands you can fix both on your own, otherwise to buy a new device is going to be cheaper nowadays.

I'm thinking you probably need to refresh the flicker rate on your monitor. The flicker rate is probably set on a low setting, which is causing you screen to blink (flicker). This can be bad for your health as well because it can cause eyestrain and headaches. Your monitor is a CRT (Cathode-Ray Tube) model. These types of monitors can cause a lot of screen flickering. 2.Otherwise suspected issue with lcd cable or lcd.

one check your refresh rate in windows boot the pc into safe mode if flickering is gone then lower your refresh rate if not replace lcd inverter board.

The power supply board or inverter. The power supply board is the first step. Look for any capacitors that are puffed up. Replacing them should take care of the PS. Check to see if you have 24 volts going to the inverter. If you do PS is OK and the inverter is most likely bad...good luck

Hello, this is a known problem with the model of that laptop. You will also notice in safe mode your screen will not flicker but in normal mode it will flicker.
Your laptop should still be under warranty and needs the LCD replaced.

Sounds like an LCD problem. You can verify this by hooking up an external monitor. The external monitor will probably show a good display.
After verification of the problem,you may want to try to replug the LCD cable at both ends, just to see if that corrects the situation.
If that resolves things, all is well and good. If not, you may need a replacement LCD.
If the external monitor shows the same display, you may have a motherboard problem.
