Mywifiext login I am trying to set up the NETGEAR N300 Range extender. I am unable to get an extender to router connection. I press the WPS, it blinks but no connection is made. Now what do I do? I am not very hi tech.

Do you have the range extender set up on the same live in the fuse box? If you have the one side on a breaker on the opposite side of the fuse box from the othrr side, it will not work well at all. That is why I encourage people not to waste their money on these things and get a decent wireless system so that you dont have problems.

SOURCE: Weak connection with my xbox 360

The best way to make the wireless connection stable is to do some changes on the wireless settings of the router , like changing its wireless channel to the highest one to avoid any interference on your area.........

SOURCE: Limited or no connectivity

It is dhcp server issue.
For that connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then access it with following link.
http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1

type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
then go to advanced and enable dhcp .
Then save settings and then restart .
Also you can set ip addrese manualy but make sure it is in range with router.

Let me know if you need more assistanse.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Can I extend my internet range with a netgear & a Belkin router

DG834G is a modem/router, it is not a range extender that could extend the range of the wireless signal from the Belkin router.

You can install it as many times as you want. On the other hand, I'm not sure if you're allowed to copy the disk. Try to look it up in the n300 users manual
