SOURCE: knocking noise coming from Whirlpool Gold refrigerator

Mine does it too. I know what it is because I repair them for a living. That is the sound of ice expanding as the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost on the evaporator. The next ime you hear it make a note of the time. Every 8 to 10 hours it will go into defrost mode. The ice box will also quit working for 21 minutes.

SOURCE: condensation dripping from top of refrigerator

The problem is the defrost drain trough is plugged with ice. You will have to turn off the refrigerator, remove the freezer back panel and use a baby aspirator to help you apply and remove hot water to melt the ice. Then insert the aspirator in the drain hole to blow out any thing that may have gotten lodged inside. You will hear the water draining now to the pain underneath the refrigerator. Hope that helps you, good luck!!

SOURCE: Whirlpool Gold refrigerator water leaking

If it's flooding, it's NOT the drain pan. It's probably the water valve has gotten stuck in the open position. Hope this helps!

Drop of water on the ceiling of my fridge

If you have a top freezer and have the refrigerator in a room that gets warm and has abundant moisture it is not uncommon for water vapor to condense on the cool freezer top surface. Put a small mat on top of unit.

check the door gaskets, if they are not sealing properly, it will allow warm air to enter the refrigerator. when the warm air mixes with the cold air it forms moisture and condensation occurs.

My whirlpool Gold is having condensation and it is puddling in the floor causing damage to my cabnets that surrond it. Can you suggest any solutions?

This water is accumulated during the automatic defrost cycle, which occurs every 24-hours. A fan is supposed to pull air over it to evaporate it.

Clean all the dust and lint accumulation from under the unit, remove the condensation collection pan and clean it, and make sure the bottom fan is running.

I can't emphasize strongly enough how much of an enemy the accumulation of dirt and dust under a refrigerator can be its worst enemy. It can make the refrigerator exhibit symptoms of much more serious problems. Sometimes a good cleaning can have it operating like new with no real 'repairs' whatsoever.

Water condenses on the ceiling of my frigerator.. and collects in the bottom of the frig, the shelves and drawers.. it does not drain outside the frig and the back of the frigerator doesn't appear to come...

Yes, you may have two problems. The seals around the door are defective or the drain to the pan below the refrigerator is blocked or both. I will need you to read a few things that may help you and I am here to help you get this solved. Now because the water is inside the fresh food compartment I believe the drain is blocked in sid the back and rear of the refrigerator. Look at the first link below and see if this applies to you. Then read the second link and ask me questions if you need. Please rate me and Thank You, Sea Breeze

Loud Humming and Hot Front Panel

DONT TOUCH ANYTHING. IF IT IS COOLING CORRECTLY LEAVE IT. LOUD HUMMING IS COMMON ON SOME COMPRESSORS.(ANNOYING I KNOW).THE HEATING ON THE FRONT IS NORMAL AS IT IS THE MULLON HEATERS WHICH RUN THROUGH THE FRAME. IF THAT AREA WERE COLD, CONDENSATION WOULD OCCUR AND WOULD DRIP CONTINUOUSLY.
