Message reads "Replace PF Kit" but everything is working fine. Is this an error and if so, how do I clear it??

I read on another printer that if everything is working that this message is in error. Is that the case with he 9320cw as well? If so, how can I clear the message? Pressing Menu * 2 8 6 4 does not work on this model. THANKS!

The PF kit has life expectancy, if everything works fine just reset its counter.

Press "3 & 9" together, select the desired parts counter reset.

SOURCE: Resetting "Replace PF Kit 1" message

Same with me on my MFC 8870DW. The procedure worked perfectly:

1) Turn off printer
2) Press and hold menu button and turn on. Keep holding button until you see maintenance on display.
3) Press 88. This brings up parts replacement menu.
4) Press Up arrow until you see the part you replaced (laser, fuser, pf kit1, pf kit mp).
5) Press the OK button.
6) Power off and restart printer.

But how do I know whether or not I really NEED to replace a PF Kit1? I guess I'll find out if it recurs soon.

My Brother MFC-L5700 is saying replace PF KIT 1, does anyone know how to reset this please and thank you, Chris.

To do this, press the GO and + buttons at the same time until "Reset Parts Life" is displayed. Now press the + button until PF Kit 1 or 2 is displayed and press SET. The counter will now be reset.
