What would cause my display to not work? - Bunn ULTRA-2 PAF HPR GP, WHT/SST

The ribbon wire from the display to the system board has cracked causing intermittent operation when moved. Depending on the wire configuration to the screen will decide if the screen must be replaced or the ribbon wire.

Just to verify are you using a 4wire cable that has power? If you have moved environments it is possible you might have to get the aux ac power adapter that you plug your cables into to power the display.

you may have a bad inverter of bad inverter connector....or the connector is loose.. this can cause perminant damage if left untreated. most likely you may have a loose connection,,are you under warranty?

Hi, did the phone fall on the flow or hit something? If yes, that might have been the cause of the dim display. Cause the screen has been affected and you will need to replace the screen.

After dim display, if the phone blinks or show some funny moving display, that means is the flex that connects the front screen board to the main board of the phone that is faulty and it will need to be replaced.

Could be a loose Display Card... pretty rare that would happen if the System has been working fine. An event would have to occur to knock it out.
The PC should boot to the BIOS with everything unplugged in the System. Try to re-seat the Display Card first if not, unplug the Hard Drive to see if that is causing the issue. If you have an On-Board Video... pull the Display Card to see if you get a Boot.
Pull Modem as well...
If it were Memory you would get a beep. Wouldn't hurt to clean and re-seat Mem as well while your in there. Dust does cause errors because of poor connections. :)

This normally causes by failure of power supply board. Some time it causes by failure of inverter board, in this case you can see the picture moving on the dark screen as it has no back light.

keep the home button and the power button pressed together untill a yellow triangle appears on your screen and it will restart............this should solve ur problem.
I tried it and never saw a yellow triangle but it rebooted the phone and it worked again!
I just don't know why the screen goes blank
