New faucet, sprayer hooked up right, no water going into hose?

Installed new pfister single handle faucet. hard not to hook up wrong you know. but no water will come out of the sprayer?? Can you help debug this?there is no water in the hose--the main body where the on off handle is, is not letting the water into the hose? water does come out the main faucet both hot and cold.

Thank you for your reply. The hose is not kinked and blowing into the hose is of no avail. Water just will not come into the hose from the main body. It appears the main body is malfunctioning at the diverter. I will attemped to reassemble the main body from the handle side. Not sure what to look for but once in there it may be obvious. I assume the diverter can be put in backwards? Again thanks for confirming my conclusion.

Check the sprayer handle by disconnecting and blowing into it and pressing sprayer handle and/or for possible kink at main body or hose by disconnected sprayer point hose into sink and turn on water. If no water the the diverter in main body is not working properly and needs to be reassembled or replaced

I recently installed a Pfister Cagney Single control kitchen faucet with side spray. The spray has no pressure. The water from the faucet is great. What could be the problem?

Could be trash got into hose( i.e., teflon tape, brass shavings, etc.). I suggest that you turn off water, disconnect the hose and try flushing water through the hose with no sprayer attached. If water goes through, then you have a stoppage in the sprayer. The face of the sprayer usually unscrews allowing you to check if there is trash in it.

How to replace a price pfister kitchen faucet sprayer

The sprayer should have a threaded fitting on the end of the hose. Unscrew old one from valve, pull hose out the top, feed new hose back down into cabinet and screw in to where old hose was attached.

I need a replacement handle, including all the parts and hoses, on my Price Pfister Marielle kitchen faucet model # T26-4NEE

Most new kitchen faucets feature single-handle control levers and washerless designs that rarely require maintenance. Additional features include brushed metallic finishes, detachable spray nozzles, or even push-button controls.Connect the faucet to hot and cold water lines with easy-to-install flexible supply tubes made-from vinyl or braided steel. If your faucet has a separate sprayer, install the sprayer first. Pull the sprayer hose through the sink opening and attach to the faucet body before installing the faucet.

Where local codes allow, use plastic tubes for drain hookups. A wide selection of extensions and angle fittings lets you easily plumb any sink configuration. Manufacturers offer kits that contain all the fittings needed for attaching a food disposer or dishwasher to the sink drain system.

Installed brand new marielle kitchen faucet with matching srpay and soap... sprayer is not working. please help

If you used the teflon tape to seal the threads on the sprayer connection. Make sure the tape is has not blocked the line.
Check for any kinks in the hose and it is not pinned against something.

Turn on the cold water and hold the sprayer over the sink and activate.
If nothing happens while still holding the sprayer move from cold water to hot. If still no water there maybe something in the line preventing the sprayer from receiving water.

Highly doubt there is anything mechanically wrong but it has happened before. See if you can swap it for a new one.

Good luck!

Sprayer leaking from inside handle mechanism

although it is possible that the spray head has gone bad, it is more likely that the diverter mechanism inside the kitchen faucet needs replaced. When this part is defective, it allows full pressure from the faucet to go to sprayer head even though the sprayer is not triggered. The sprayer is not designed to handle full pressure when it is not spraying.

Delta kitchen faucet mixed spray...diverter problem???

No a pull out sprayer problem is different.

First try this. Pull out the sprayer and remove from hose by turning nut that connects sprayer to hose. If you can get someone to help you it would be nice since the hose can go down into the faucet and might be trouble to retrieve. Look in the connection on the sprayer where the hose connects and look at the screen. If the screen is plugged or dirty clean and reinsert. If you can't clean it replace it. If this isn't working go to the next suggestion below.

In the spray head of the faucet there is a build up of deposits from use and or water hardness. Here is the link to the Delta site.

Delta Faucets

If you find you faucet model order a new spray head. Once these go bad they usually need replacing.

Hope this helps and please rate this!
