SOURCE: Transferring from internal memory to memory card

connect camera to computer without disk. Go to "my computer", click on the camera icon, it should say how many pictures you have and ask what you want to do with them.

SOURCE: I have not been able

The problem is that your camera is only compatible with SD cards, not SDHC cards. You bought a larger card for your older camera, not noticing that it was SDHC (or not knowing that it mattered). The new card can't be formatted, not because it or the camera is broken, but because it's not compatible.

Cards up to 2Gb are generally SD.
Cards of 4Gb are generally SDHC.
Cards over 8Gb have to be SDHC.

(There are exceptions. Sometimes, manufacturers make 4Gb SDHC cards but some have errors; they disable half of the chip and sell it as 2Gb, but it's still SDHC. 4Gb cards are almost always SDHC because they're cheaper, but 4Gb SD cards do exist. They are so rare that I've even seen a guru on this site claim they don't. I did own one once, but it was very expensive and turned out to be so unreliable that I had to return it. I don't recommend looking for one, because of the problems.)

Your solution is to go find a 2Gb card, and be extra sure that it doesn't say "SDHC" on it.

I have a kodak easy share camera M340 and I can't take any photos since it says Internal memory is full. Help

Buy yourself an SD memory card and transfer your pics to the card. That will clear your internal memory. You can save all your pics that you take from now on in the SD card.

How do I switch frm using the internal memory to the memory card? My Z612 is apparently not reading the memory card. When I turn the camera on I get a message that says "internal memory is full."

Download the pics you want to save from the internal memory. Then, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

Our Kodak Z612 won't switch back to the memory card

Dont you worry On that.,

Here's the thing you need to Do.

-Turn On the Camera
-Press menu
-Press down arrow 10 times
-Now you should see the word IMAGE STORAGE then press Ok Button
-Now under Image storage it will provide 2 options if your press Ok., Highlight or choose the word Auto then Press Ok.

Now since your image storage is On auto it means that It will automatically Go into your Memory card everytime you insert you memory card in your Camera., GudlucK!

Switching from internal memory to memory card

Push the MENU button and advance through the options until IMAGE STORAGE comes up. Setting this for AUTO will route all new pics to the memory card, using internal memory only if the card is full.

Kodax 8.2 mega pixels

I found this part of the manual helpful:

www.kodak.com/global/plugins/acrobat/en/service/manuals/urg00239/CX7330_GLB_en.pdf

You have to set the storage to internal memory, then you can copy to a memory card.

Hope that helps!

No Flash function on Kodak Easyshare Z612

To both, I'm afraid you need to send the out camera for repair.

Camera flashes use a capacitor that holds the electric energy for the flash. It takes some time to charge and discharges very rapidly to generate the light pulse. Capacitors are notorious in their reliability. They tend to disconnect and die or short circuit and die.

In camera1234's case it might just died disconnected.

In sheranne case it might died short circuiting. In this case the camera should not be used since the battery might explode.

Kodak easy share z612 will not turn on to take a picture

When the battery dies, usually the camera will retract the lens if possible. If the battery is so dead the lens can not retract, I would recommend trying to charge or change the battery. Or try to turn the camera on, and then manually shutting it off if you can.
