Try not calling people who may help you idiots, you're not likely to get any meaningful help from strangers by being rude. And change from AOL. your kids are right. use gmail instead. If you really want password help regarding AOL email you need to contact the only people who can help - AOL. try 1-800-827-6364 for USA or 0844 499 5555 for UK

Hello,
Go to Start, Control Panel, User Accounts. Click on the administrator user and then click on "change my password".
Enter a new password. When you log off, you will be able to use your new password.

They should be in your address book as always. It shouldn't have changed. Try to write an email and see if your address book icon shows up on the right sige of the email. You can also go to the toolbar at the top and under mail it will have address book. If this isn't what you're looking for let me know. I've had AOL since they were a baby. 1) Reinstall the AOL software, available here
2) If that doesn't help, you need to check your hard drive for errors:
Close any open programs.
Open My Computer, right click on your hard drive (probably C:)
Click Properties. Choose Tools, then Error Check, Check now. Select both checkboxes and press Start.
The computer may prompt you to reboot, let it do that.
This should resolve the issue.

That is a problem with your browser. If your using Internet Explorer download Mozilla Firefox or Google chrome. I find Google chrome works the best and is very easily adaptable. But if you want safety use Mozilla Firefox.

you need to keep please back up before proceed with the below steps.
Once the data is gone it is gone forever.
1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Press on the Menu.
3. Next tap on the Settings.
4. Then tap on the Phone option.
5. scroll down the screen and then tap on Restore Phone.
6. Now tap on Yes to confirm.
7. Put in the password and tap on the Confirm button. Do this again to confirm the password.
8. Wait for your phone to reboot and check out if the setting has gone back to default.
