My oven is not heating. The gas flow is so low that a match won't enable it to stay lit. The stove works fine. Sometimes the oven will heat, but have to keep turing off and on, and put up with nasty gas smell until it decides to work.
Hi
The problem you have is with the FSD (Flame Safeguard Device) or Oven Thermostat, it works like this.......
You light the oven, a small amount of gas is let through the FSD to the burner, once the FSD probe has heated enough, it will go to high flame, then the oven thermostat takes over and regulates the flame, when it's reached temperature it lowers the flame.
You need to get a qualified gas engineer to take a look at it.
I hope this helps
Steve :)
