I put in a brand new developer unit, using the new developer I had just replaced into the old developer unit, reset drum and maintenance counters, ran F8 again. The machine came into ready, ran (1) copy, jamed on fuser entry and C2557 fired again. I then reset the switch in the back (right hand side), reset the switch on the main board, reset drum and maintenance counters, ran F8 again. The machine came into ready, ran (1) copy, jamed on fuser entry and C2557 fired again.

C2557 for Toner Density Control abnormality in Developer.
Try in this sequence..

1-Check Toner, if Empty, Reset code and install new toner bottle.
2- if not from above, Then replace Developer and Developing Unit.
3-if Not, then check Hopper Unit, Clean Sensor and Solenoid.

How to reset c2557 bizhub 215
replace the dv powder. if you reset the drum counter and didnt actually replace the dv it throws that error code. after you do that, the problem should go away.

C2557 ATDC Sensor Failure
• The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is less
than 7 % while the IU Motor is turning.
• The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is more than 19 % while the IU Motor is turning.

This is form the service manual, The meaning is developer material or the worst case you should change the entire ATDC sensor.

My NEC IT 2530 copier machine is coming up with an malfunction detected call for service C2557. I need to get the copier machine working.
C2557= ATDC sensor failure.
Did you run the machine out of toner? Or if you or a service tech recently replaced the developer then you need to perform the F8 adjustment in the service mode. Either way you will need a service technician.

This code happens if you replace drum without replacing developer. Both must be replaced at same time.

Error c2557 konica minolta 250/NEC IT2530
Reset it, start it with the right door open, go to service mode, clear the counters for drum and developer and go to functions menu. Close the right door and start immediately the F8 function. It should work.

Utility/Counter -> Details -> [STOP][0][0][STOP][0][1]
Go to counter and clear the life of the developer and drums and then run F8 from functions.

Reset your Toners and Imaging units for Minolta Bizhub and CF series.
