If you do not remember the password that is not a problem. Follow the steps that i have outlined below. If this does not completely help your situation please let me know and i will be glad to assist you. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following: 1 If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage
its songs. . . Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. 2 Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. 3 Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. 4 Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. 5 Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. 6 Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. 7 Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal features again. if that does not work you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination.
If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data." If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.

I need to change my password but my 5s isnt allowing me to do so

Go to iphone setting - then passcode or touch id & passcode. now tap on change passcode and then enter your old passcode and then new passcode. And if you forgot your passcode and your ipod iphone disabled and you want to unlock disabled iphone ipad.

here is the detail procedure
First method you can restore your ipod. But this will erase all your data on ipod. So if you have recent backup then go for restoring ipod. For that just connect your ipod to computer- then open itunes. Make sure you have installed latest itune version otherwise update your itunes first. Now open itunes then find your ipod under deivce tab at the top left sidecorner. Click on your ipod icon. Click on summary and then click on restore.
You can also restore your ipod from old backup also. For that open itunesfind your ipod under device menu. Now select your ipod and then right click on your ipod the you will get options for restore from backup.Select restore from backup this will provide list of all your previous backup on that computer itunes. Now select your backup which you want to restore and then click on continue. Once your restoring is completed your ipod will shut down and then again restart your ipod it will take few minutes to start up. And it also asks few information about you. Once you complete all that procedure your ipod is unlocked which was disable or locked due to wrong passcode.

IPod is disabled, and I forgot my password / passcode.

The screen lock is available on the iPod Touch, as well as recent models of the iPod, and iPod nano, allowing you to set a 4-digit passcode to lock the screen. This is to prevent others from using your iPod, but it is not an impregnable security device. If you forget the passcode, you can quickly and simply unlock the iPod by connecting it to the computer you normally use to sync your iPod with iTunes.

Forgot my ipod pascode lock

If you own an iPod touch, you have the option to set a password, which Apple calls a passcode, to protect your data. Anyone who attempts to access your iPod, after unlocking it or turning it on, will require the passcode to do so. However, if you forget your passcode or incorrectly enter it, you will eventually see an alert that your iPod touch has become disabled. To unlock your iPod touch after forgetting the passcode, and still access your content, you must connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.

Connect your iPod touch to the computer with which you last synced the music player. Launch iTunes if it does not automatically open. Select your iPod touch under the devices list, and click the "Summary" tab in iTunes. Click "Restore" and, when prompted, click the "Back Up" button to save a back up of your iPod touch in iTunes. Click "Restore" when prompted, after the back up saves. After restoring, click "Ok." Choose the most recent back up from the drop down list on the "Set Up Your iPod" screen. Click the "Continue" button to restore your iPod touch.

How to unlock an ipod

Apple's iPod touch, a portable music player with a touchscreen display, is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to 40 hours of audio playback and up to seven hours of video playback when fully charged. To conserve power, the iPod touch locks by default after a minute of not being used. If you want to use your iPod touch after it locks, you will need to unlock it. You might need to type a password, depending on how you've configured the device.

Press the "Home" button, located below the screen, or press the silver "Sleep/Wake" switch located at the top of the device. Swipe a finger across the "Slide to Unlock" slider on the screen. The iPod touch unlocks. Press the "Home" button or press the "Sleep/Wake" switch when you have enabled passcode protection on your iPod, then swipe a finger across the "Slide to Unlock" slider on the screen. The "Enter a Passcode" message appears. Type in your passcode, and then tap "OK." The iPod touch unlocks. Forgot Your Password b> Connect the iPod Touch to your computer using the USB cable. Wait for iTunes to open and sync with your computer. Eject your iPod Touch from the computer by clicking the "Eject" icon beside the iPod's entry in the "Devices" section of iTunes. Disconnect your iPod Touch from the USB cable. Your iPod Touch will be turned on and will be unlocked. Tap the "General" menu on the iPod Touch. Tap "Passcode Lock," and then tap either "Turn Passcode Off" or "Change Passcode." If you tap "Change Passcode," you can then enter a new passcode.

Ipod touch disabled

If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, iPhone or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals, before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect to the computer you normally sync with. Note that starting with iPhone 2.1 software, there is a setting to cause the device to erase itself after 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts. This setting is off by default. It can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you enter a correct passcode.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device on the computer that was used to originally sync the iPhone or iPod touch so that you can reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced to the iPhone or iPod touch, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode but your data will not be present.

Unlock code from ipod

It depends on the severity and the settings you have given the iPod... Here's the full explanation. I would recommend reading the second paragraph first, but the solution if you really forgot your password is in the first paragraph.
Refer to "Updating and restoring iPhone and iPod touch software."

"If you enter the wrong passcode too many times, you'll see a message that says "iPhone is disabled" and to try again later. It  can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you enter a correct passcode."
