SOURCE: RCA Scenium: l5000yx1 - turns on and off by itself.

Mines did the same thing. I had to get a new bulb $200 on line and pay someone $200 more to fix some wires that had pulled apart when we changed out the light. But now it works great!

SOURCE: RCA L26WD21 No picture/white screen but still have sound

It sounds like the LCD controller board went out, look inside to see if the cable may have come off the LCD controller board. You can look and see what it looks like here: http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=RCA+L26WD21+
Please post back what you find.

I have a 2 year old LG LCD TV (model 42LG60) and I am having problems with the screen. I turn it on and everything is fine for a few minutes and then the screen goes to red or green lines that are fuzzy....

Not really a solution, sorry, but I've got the very same problem. I haven't noticed the time before tv faults, but nontheless, it greenscreens or like in your case, redscreens as well. I've been told to open the back, which I did to check the status of the capicitors, which I've done. But, the capacitors "seem" fine. No bulging or popped tops. So, I'm at a stand still...not sure what to do at this point. If someone gives you solution, I sure would appreciate your forwarding it on to me. Thanks. Robert

My LCD tv model LN46A650A1FXZA picture turns green after about being on for 5 minutes. Then is gets fuzzy and green

I have the same issue. TV is ~ 2 yrs old. Ruled-out cable-box & HDMI cables (green present in menu mode with no cables attached).

Screen turns mostly green, with a crappy picture. After a few days, a normal picture just appeared. Today I powered-on, the green screen stuff came up, then a minute later a good picture for about 20 minutes, back to green-stuff for 10 seconds, then good picture.

Did chavez_debi get her issue resolved?

You may need to adjust your settings perhaps the Aspect ratio is incorrect, anyhow i have given you a link to your user manual, so you can set to default settings and troubleshoot your issue. Also i have given you a Training manual, this too will give you insight into your problem www.scribd.com/.../PANASONIC-CHASSIS-TH42PHD5-TV-PLASMA-TRAINING -

Green picture only

The projection TV has 3 guns RED GREEN BLUE. In your case the red and the blue guns are gone. So you are getting the green color screen. You got to replace the picture tube.

PICTURE IS FUZZY AND DISTORTED

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture
