My wifi tablet, Iphone or laptop does not connect to my Huawei E5220, it tells me authentication problem. Ive done the password thing, reset everything and set it up again but nothing works. If I connect with the USB to my laptop everything works on the laptop but nothing else connects.
If its about authentication than your putting the password wrong. also i think your limited on the devices you can connect to it . if im not mistaken its like 4

If they work without the the expansion unit, the unit is not passing the power through. Many work this way. Some will work with external power.

You need to plug the USB cable directly to a USB port on the computer. The PS/2 connections will only interpret keyboard or mouse signals (green for mouse) using the correct usb to PS/2 adapter.
If you do not have a USB port, you may be able to get a USB PCMIA card (or similar card slot add-in depending on your system). These will work with most Operating Systems (Win98SE and beyond) depending on the card and the computer. Listing one:

(BTW, the keyboard USB to PS/2 adapter will not work for a mouse and vice versa. The wiring is done specifically for the device standard.)

You cannot charge a laptop through USB. The only way for a laptop to charge is from it's power plug.
