How do I disable a factory installed killswitch alarm for good?

Just take out the hole sys
And wire ignition wires back together
All they do is disable fuel & power to ignition

not sure if your having problems with factory alarm but if it is malfunctioning it most likley will again so here it goes...... to reset alarm insert key in drivers door turn key left then turn key right this should disarm and reset the factory alarm. to disable the factory alarm for good in the drivers door wireing harness look for the factory alarm disarm wire it should be dark green/purple with a negative polarity when your sure you have this wire splice a wire of the same size into it and ground the other end to the frame make sure that you have a good solid ground here and thah where you spliced into the wire is a good connection. this should terminate the factory alarm function hope this helps you

Most factory alarms reset when key is turned on. Remotes are available through the factory still bought by VIN #

A '94 didn't have a stock alarm system that would engage the killswitch. If you/previous owner installed an alarm you should verify how to reset it b4 disconnecting battery.

I had a 91 and don't remember a kill switch of any kind in it. What was the scenario when the vehicle died? May be able to guide you in the right direction.

the factory alarm doesn't stop the fuel system it only cuts the starter your problem lies somewhere else

If you have the factory alarm system, you can put your key into either door and lock and unlock the door, that signals the computer to deativate the alarm. If you have an aftermarket alarm system installed, it will have to be removed and the wiring that the alarm ties into must be restored to factory design.

check to see if u have a killswitch usuall under the dashboad by the steering wheel have a 93 camry and my battery died and i had the same exact problem of it not starting just find the killswitch and flip it then u should be good to go.

if alarm is activated, it could be shutting off the starter, hence no starting....you may have to have a locksmith or electronics place disable the alarm so you can at least drive the thing
