check the water in let valve connections and the current over it when it is in the fab cond. cycle. Replace valve if current is on. Valve price range is 15-35$

hiya
more than likely the cold inlet valve as mentioned above, these are not hard to replace so even with minimal diy skills should be an easy fix. i think £30 is a bit steep for one of those though even if it is a genuine bosch part. try these as i've always found their prices quite cheap

SOURCE: Only adds water and drains
I can think of a few things to try.
1) Check for a blockage in any of the pipes or if it has one the filter
2) Brushes might be worn on the motor
3)A faulty module. The only way to check this last one is to replace with a known working one.
Good luck.

I would say that the brushes want replacing in the motor, access to the motor is by removing the rear panel, remove the belt, and undo screws securing motor, remove motor, brushes are located at rear end of motor.

Thanks

Plug
off the wall first. Remove the front
lower panel, screws underneath. Be
prepared for water, drain out from drain hose.
Check filter for clogging, clean out.
Sometimes when the load is unbalanced & the machine cannot adjust
the load it stops. To avoid this make
sure your wash is mixed with big and small clothes.
If
this does not work remove the rear panel & check belt, should have half
inch ‘give’. Still not good, remove belt,
unscrew 2 bolts that hold the motor, unplug the motor connector, lever the
motor back with a screwdriver. Check the
motor brushes (at terminal end of motor), if they are any shorter than 1 cm
replace brushes.
