Search the internet. You will find several sources f replacement remote controls.

If you got 2 yrs out of a TV from Walmart congratulation...thats double what most last from there..But a new TV from somewhere that sells better quality TVs

Call these guys. They can assist you. What Vizio is saying is the LED strips are mounted in the LCD panel and cannot be replaced.

What is the part number that you are replacing each time

Ebay has parts but there are other sites on the web that do also. Important thing is to have the exact part number. And make sure that a replacement part is exactly the same. If not, it is not uncommon for replacement to not work properly.

Have you tried un plugging the TV for 10 minutes and seeing if that clears the lock up? This is a software issue I'm sure.

I am having the same issue with our Vizio E550VL TV. Does your TV show No Signal on the screen? I was able to get regular AV to work with the Yellow, Red, and White cable to work but none of the HDMI ports would not work. If it does not power on at all it may be the power supply. I had to order the main board to get it to work correctly. Vizparts.com is where you can order it from.

Ur universal remote have codes problems,low in batteries or replacement batteries have problems with codes.Re enter the codes again,for ur tv model.
