the s type models has a saddle type of fuel tank which means it has two compartments ie.to go over the rear transmission system ie, propshaft and differential. it has a electrical pulse width controlled pump to supply the engine.which is on rh and a jet pump on lh side of tank which is not electrical and uses a hydraulic type off system to transfer fuel from one side to the other to balance it all out and has two level sensors for fuel level indication which the instrument pack sorts out the differance for fuel level indications, hope that helps you.
You have an exposed electrical source and/or a fan belt that is slipping when it get wets. When the belt slips, voltage drops and ignition is very voltage sensitive. Check you fan belt if it seems loose and or glazed (smooth)
Cats was a optional extra from the factory. It is adaptive damping. It basicialy softens or stiffens the shock absorbers to your driving style.
It may seem that one of your shock absorbers has developed a internal pressure fault. A local garage with a code reader can tell you wich shock absorber to check. Would be worth checking the electrical connectors that plug into the top of the shock absorber to make sure they are not damaged.
it is your electronic control module which is the BRAIN of the car and this is a computer which runs the entire car and it is offline it may need to be reflashed by a mechanic shop with the proper software through a laptop. Electrical problem is what it is. get a diagnostic scan performed on it ok?

Is there fluid? is there NO power steering or just very little assist? There is an electrical connector on the steering rack that if not plugged in will cause very little power steering assistance
