Managed to get old school text working on 2018 LG tv.
    1) disable HbbTV (settings / all settings / programmes / HbbTV/ Auto Start OFF).
    2) power off tv (via tv full off, not on remote for standby).
    3) turn on tv. Put on BBC either SD or HD channel. Wait 10 seconds or so for the green restart programme pop up - indicates text now ready.
    4) press text.
    5) if you press the Red Button it all stops working until you put TV in standby and restart it.
    6) to get red button functionality back, turn HbbTV back on. Turn off TV power at TV. Restart and you now have red button functions, but no old school teletext.

You should press the home button of your teletext page usually its 100
or you could press one of the four colored buttons o your remote control unit so it will reset to the home page of the teletext
(a black page mostly says that teletext isn't available to the specific channel )

SOURCE: LG 42'' TV has no sound but great picture. How do I get the sound?

You shouldn't need anything plugged into the accessory jacks to get local sound from your set. Go through the main setup menu and check audio settings; they may be set to turn off the internal speakers to send the sound to a home theatre that you apparently don't have. Most sets have that as a selection and supply L-R audio for an external system and mute the internal speakers.
FYI: The three connectors you mention are coded as follows:
Red - right channel audio White - left channel audio Yellow - composite video (contains synchronization signals and video)
These may be input connectors (for external VCR/DVD decks) so check your owner's guide to verify.

SOURCE: My wii connection is black and white

You are connecting it into the wrong input. The Wii comes with a RCA cables that should go into the Video (composite) input that has yellow, red, and white. The component input will not work with the RCA cable input. Plug your Wii into Video1 and you should get the right colors. There should be another HDMI on the side of your TV, there are inputs located both on the back and side of the TV for your convience.

SOURCE: I have poor color and when the screen is dark many

This is a common fault on all LG sets with few people offering any solutions. I can offer a solution that could remove 95% if not 100% of the dots.
Remove the back of the set, there are about 40 screws. On the left hand side on a circuit board you will see 3 or 4 blue plastic boxes with yellow screw adjusters in them. The only 2 you are interested in are VR3 "setup" and VR2 "setdn". Mark the location with a marker pen so that you know where the factory settings were. Then turn VR3 fully clockwise. If this does not get rid completely do the same with VR2. This worked for me today, I was about to throw the TV away but I now have a 95% improved screen, sharper and more vibrant picture and saved hundreds. Hope it works.

SOURCE: LG 50' Flat Screen TV;

A black line down the middle of the TV can be a few things. You plasma panel might be bad your buffer on that location of the screen might be bad or your logic board might be bad. Teh only way to find out is by replacing the parts , You can get parts at www.interliquidparts.com

How do i fix my lg plasma tv that has screen filled with multi collored vertical lines abd screen showint three bands of color green, light green and purple?

If you have to ask this, I assume you don't have the kills to repair a plasma TV. Then please don't start this. Opening it can be very dangerous, and without the technical skills, you even don't know where to look for. Most to the time I advice to visit ifixit, but this time they don't have the manual or video for LG. Perhaps they can show you some openings. But they never show you how to rebuild.
They can help with spare parts. So if you really want to do this yourself. On your own risk:

I just hooked up my Flat TV to my Panasonic VHS-DVD recorder player and the screen only shows blurry Black and White when displaying or recording, The TV itself is fine.

Sounds as if you hooked up your player wrong. If you are using a composite hook up. You should have a yellow, red and white cable. Make sure it gets hooked into the same on the TV. If it is a component connection, then RED, Green and Blue. It sounds like you have your Yellow composite going through your Green component. If by chance your TV is a new Sony, then you might have to go into the user menu and turn component off and composite on.

Connection of wii to 37LF2500 tv

The cables you are describing are composite (Red, yellow, white) and most likely you are plugging into a component input (Red, Green, Blue) try looking for another input set, possibly on the front or side of the TV. Make sure to correlate the colors, this should also provide sound for you.

anytime you connect componet signal (green red and blue)to regular video inputs (yellow) end will have same effect. make sure that if you are using component signal from source(cable box,dvd player etc) you have to connected to component input in the set.
component signal will use green red and blue for video and red and white for sound.

You should take it apart again.
And put it back together again.
