Buttons do not work - GE Profile JTP18 Electric Single Oven

What's very common with panel mounted buttons behind a plastic cover is that grese gets in between the plastic and the board. The grese insulates the board circuit from the button so when you push on it nothing happens. Unplug the oven from the hydro. Remove the plastic cover from the top of the board, wipe all the grese off the board and the back of the button panel. Re-install and it should fire up.

JJW8230DDB Jenn Air double oven. Black. Digital display. The only buttons working on the display are the Cancel buttons. Display still shows time, but I can not set the time (the clock button does not work...

When buttons are not working most of the time it is due to a short in the touch pad or the electronic control in a unit you would have to call for service if you did not know how to use a multimeter to perform ohms and continuity testing and measureing of both pieces. Usually though due to the button not working most of the time it is the touch pad though. If you have any further questions message me back Thanks again

Lg lre30451sw oven the start button doesn't work

This happened to me on Christmas Day morning & it happened once before. I finally remembered how I fixed it. Push the "Clear" button & then push the "Start" & keep it held in until you see the lock button light up (takes awhile) & then push the "Clear" button again. After I did this the "Clock" worked again - reset the clock to the correct time & push "Start" Then click on "Bake" set your temperature & push "Start". Hope this works for you. It got me out of cooking Christmas Dinner, but I fixed it today!!
