SOURCE: blu-ray + bose 3-2-1 system connection?

Connect an HDMI cord from the bluray player to a free input on your HDTV. Then connect the standard WHITE/RED stereo cable from the bluray player into the AUX input in the back of your 3-2-1 system and voila!

You may need to check the configuration of your bluray player to make sure that is outputting stereo audio, for this please refer to the player's user manual. Other than that, you should be alright.

SOURCE: Samsung blu-ray player won't eject, tried turning off power strip

I had a similar problem with my unit. every time i hit "eject" the screen would display "eject" for about a minute then display "loading" indefinitely. no mater how many times i powered on or off it just would not spit out my disc. However, I hit the "function" button on the player and cycled through radio, aux. etc. and that seemed to un-freeze it. I was able to eject my DVD while the player was set to radio. give it a try and hope for the best.

SOURCE: My Samsung HT-BD7200 will not play blu-ray discs.

Hi there, this is a classic sign of the blu ray diode in the player becoming faulty. As with all blu ray players the technology is basically the same and the symptoms you describe are identical to all other blu ray drives. There is a small chance that you may be able to get the blu ray diode replaced but this can be costly so you need to weigh up whether or not this would be economical to do over buying a new system. There is a chance that a lens cleaner disc may remove any dirt that may have accumulated on the lens but it does not usually work due to the high cleanliness of the internals of the drive.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Samsung dvd and video model VR 320, will not switch. Have checked fuse.

Hi? If this uses a transformer, then check or use a multi-meter to confirm that indeed the transformer is working. If it uses a power supply board, check to see if there are any damaged components or any loose connections. You could re solder all the components on the power board.

My Toshiba RDXV60 stopped working, there are no lights no sound and will not respond to the remote or to button operation.

if you want to confirm if the transformer in the power supply is also bad you have to make a voltage checking. turn on the dvd player and make a voltage checking at the output at the power supply board.

Power supply blow up and Ihavenot number of i.c next to transformer

Parts are not likely available and it usually is cheaper to buy a new unit but: Google the model to see if a service manual is available (doubtful) or as a last resort call the maker with the model number for assistance.

Sharp dv-rw 260 shut of when playing casette, fuse is ok. No power to start-stop button, cant get casette out, or start player.

Transformer board. Do you have any power after the transformer/transformers?
If so, the board is faulty. If not the transformer is. Either way it's a new board unless you have a good supplier and **** good eyes.

I have a LG LRE30453SW Electric Range and the relay pcb keeps going bad. I get an F7 error when starting the oven. The first time I noticed the black line in, from the power terminal, to the relay pcb was...

First, check the 220v line and breakers are properly grounded and that you are getting a constant 220v at the plug. Then you will need to check the transformer on the unit.To test a transformer you need to know what type of transformer it is first. There is a step up transformer which steps the voltage up and a step down transformer which steps the voltage down.
You will still test the transformers the same way for step up and step down transformers. If it is a step up transformer apply the incoming power to the transformer or plug it up. Now take your multimeter and place it on the AC volt scale and test the voltage if the voltage on the data plate says the transformer should step up to 220 volts and it doesn't then your transformer is bad.
Now repeat the same steps for a step down transformer. Plug up the incoming or primary power and test voltage on the outcoming or secondary side the voltage should step down to the proper value. If you don't read any voltage on the secondary or outgoing side then the transformer is bad.
To read the voltage place the two meter leads on the secondary side, or the side you will plug your equipment into. If the secondary side is an outlet then place the two meter leads into the top two slots in the plug and read voltage. You also want to make sure the incoming power is working as well. Otherwise you will be reading a bad reading every time.
If all that looks good, then you will need to replace the control board. Here is a link to the parts for your range.

Where can I purchase a new LED display for my thermadour built in oven?

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

The issue with these displays is they can lose their intensity over time, but also it can be contributed to the main control...specifically the transformer on the "C" series ovens, hence the only remedy is to replace the control/display kit.

I'd first suggest checking the main control if you feel you are capable, this is how...

1) Turn the breaker or power supply to the oven off while servicing...saferty first ( though you will need power to check the transformer, this is where an experienced tech may be necessary, you'll need to decide )

2) locate the control board behind the display ( this will require either moving the front panel or the top panel behind the display...in the plenum )

i.e.

macmarkus_197.jpg

Then identify the PCB/control board...

macmarkus_194.jpg

The large arrow identifies the main control, the small arrow is the transformer location on the board

3) Remove the control or place it at a vantage point you can perform the following voltage checks, this is where some experience or electrical knowledge comes in handy...

i.e.

macmarkus_195.jpg

If the values listed in the test chart all are o.k. then you need a display only...if not you'll need the control board. ( Before you ask, I don't know of any transformer supplier...but then you're gambling nothing else is defective on the control anyway, not worth it in my opinion, that's your call )

Now to answer your question about availability though, one can find these "display's" at "repairclinic.com" for around $225USD and includes what I've attached here...

macmarkus_193.jpg

The "PCB" or control as it is referred to as well is also available at said location for around $175USD, it will include this...

Hope this helps move you forward. Let me know if I can assist you further and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)
