It's the magenta drum that's causing the problem so you'll have to replace the imaging unit.But first try removing the imaging unit and cleaning the laser windows and the metal contacts.
The magenta toner cartridge is probably defective. If you take the cartridge out and open the flap and see magenta toner all of the drum then it needs to be replaced.
If the magenta is low the waste bin may be full and that may be causing the problem. If this is the case you need to change the toner. You can try calibrating the printer. You may have to do this 3 times in a row for it to make a difference.

It could be a couple of things with the toner, magenta drum might not be taking the toner off, or the transfer belt. The best thing to do is get a hold of the Konica/Minolta Rep in your area.
assuming you are using a browser have you gone to file page setup and uncheck the background printing of colors. otherwise we need more info OS , software application used, usb /network printer ,model printer any changes made recently. etc..
