This is what dewalt is saying...The Dewalt 12V/20V MAX work-site charger/radio functions as an AM/FM radio and recharges your 12V/20V Dewalt batteries (batteries not included). The 3-stage charger can recharge your batteries in as little as 1 hour, and the radio can run off 12V/20V batteries for cordless operation

  • 2 AC power outlets offer more versatility for jobsite power
  • Auxillary & USB ports allows for connection to CD, MP3, portable satellite receivers, and other digital audio devices.
  • USB port allows device to be charged via USB when radio is plugged into a wall outlet

DeWalt 20 V impact. Driver ejects occasionally. Locks in correctly to start then after limited use, bit holder falls out.
These are known for the spring in the nose (#12) to fail.
Using an o-ring pick or small screwdriver remove the hog ring on the end of the bit holder (#17).
Slide the washer, spring, and sleeve off (Be careful not to lose the small lock ball)
The spring that pushes the lock ball forward (#12) is usually the culprit.

A dewalt dcd970 18v xrp and when i try to unscrew anything the bit comes loose. Can't figure out why?
check the inside of the chuck at the bottom(open the chuck to max). There should be small screw there with either a hex or a Phillips head. It is a left hand screw that locks the chuck in place and will not let it unscrew when you are removing parts.. If it is not there then you will have to get one from an old drill that is junk unless you can get one from an electrical appliance shop the repairs drills.

Dewalt miter saw dw716 suddenly stopped working, as if there is no power to the unit. I was cutting some dense hardwood.
You have tripped the overload switch. It should reset after it cools off. If it does not then there may be a small button, like on the bottom of a garbage disposal. Good Luck!
