Proscan manufacturer Remote will not work, Need new one TV is 8 months old, under warranty. Please replace it, can not be fixed.

If it's only 8 months old it should be under warranty, return it to where you purchased it

Is there power to the outlet? Check your circuit breakers!

Tv only bought for 2 months,no way the the tv IR board dies that fast.The tv remote CPU is shorted and dead.The remote is the problems.Call Proscan customers service,talk to them get ur warrenty at work.Tell them u need another tv remote.Might have to send their old remote back.

If it is only 2 month's old it should still be in warranty call the manufacturer they should be able to help you.

I am sorry Sir, the display panel is bad. If you purchased it new, it should under factory's warranty. Please call Proscan for a warranty repair.

Please follow these instructions, should fix the hum issue:

1. Turn tv on
2. Input mode should be tv
3. Turn volume to zero
4. With remote enter 9 8 7 6
5. A menu will appear on left side
6. Arrow down to backlight and with right arrow key move number from 81 to 83, press menu button twice,
7. Turn up volume and listen if hum is gone.

If your TV is less than a year old, I would suggest to call the manufacturers and ask them for an authorized repair center near you to fix it under warranty.
