Hi don't know for shore but you could try going into settings and see if airplane mode is switched on, and if so switch off, I hope this might be of some help, all the best.

in the top line of controls , tap the left selection key and tap select settings from the menu, tap left selection key, select sound, tap left selection key, select silent and tap the left selection key, select on (or off which ever you want) and tap left selection key

Please follow the below mentioned procedure to disable Demo Mode in Acer Iconia Tablets.
Tap on Apps in home screen - Settings - Storage - Internal Storage - Apps - Scroll down and Identify "Demo Video Application" under the apps list .
Tap on Clear Cache and tab on "Disable", Ignore the warning message. Note: Cust may see the "Demo mode" icon in the homescreen, however it wont bringup Demo Video

You are looking for an option called Rotation or Rotation Lock (varies by Android version and tablet). Once you find it, orient the tablet so it is in landscape mode, then turn off rotation. If you do not have an option on the bar at the top of the tablet (top pull-down you get by sliding down a finger from the top of the screen), then go to Settings, Display, and look for Rotation, Rotation Lock, or Screen Rotation.
