SOURCE: Brother Sewing Machine model:CS8150 bobbin thread problems

The top of the machine is not threaded correctly. First raise the presserfot then rethread the machine. Bottom looping is usually caused by a lack of top tension. There could allso be a bur on the hook.

Place the origin bobbin thread so the thread is coming up (clockwise) extend to the thread tention, to the top thread holder, then down through the arm and then through the bottom thread holder, through the square thread guide above the needle, then through the needle, front to back. Check out a picture on ebay or amazon. That could help you visualize it.
If you are having trouble with the thread breaking, try changing the thread on the bobbins. The thread that comes with the machine is poor quality and jams & breaks. If you still have trouble, and might suspect the needle is dull or bent. Change it, it makes a difference. I had the thread problem with the machine right out of the box. Changed it and it works great!

A manual would be helpful:

Even if you are unable to find a manual for your particular model, similar models usually thread the same or similarly. Just be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the machine so the thread will seat in the tension disks.

Why won't my new home super stretch stitch model-844 pick up bobbin thread to sew manual book

If you need a manual, search the internet for:

Make + Model + the word "Manual"

or contact the manufacturer.

Try installing a brand new needle. A bent needle sometimes will not connect properly. Be sure that both upper and bobbin threads are threaded correctly.

On the other hand, the needle/hook could be out of time. You can check that by hand turning the handwheel and watching the needle/hook movement. There are a multitude of web sites and videos that discuss timing. Or--check with a sewing machine technician.
