to make ur printer go wireless its advisable to keep the WPS in the router disabled and activate the security mode WEP instead of WPA in the router. this will solve all the wireless connectivity issues with the printer.
I finally got my CLP325W waking up correctly from sleep, but I made a few changes at once and don't know for certain which one (or combination) worked. Here are my changes: 1. disabled the USB port. (I had originally set up the printer via this port). 2. disabled IPv6 support. 3. disabled the dynamic DNS registration. 4. enabled telnet (though I doubt this had any effect).
My setup uses a static ip address that is outside the range of the dynamic addresses my router assigns and I use a mac filter on my router without any problems.
I went into the BIOS (with F2 during restart) and changed a value -- IIRC it was called something like "power management scheme" -- from the default S3 to the other choice, S1. Now the old Dell XP Dimension 2350 will go into and out of Standby correctly and the new SE198WFP 19" LCD will too.
Their should be a reset button on the back of your router/modem. You need to get a stick pin and reset it. Then turn it off from the power and allow it to reconnect. If this does not work I would call your ISP provider and get their help. They should be able to tell if it is working properly or not. Hope this helps. Please rate my answer.
