the manual says to put the key in the ignition, turn on all the way, but don't start the car and leave for 10 minutes until the theft light stops flashing. turn off all the way and star it up. good luck.

Best advice i can offer is to get the side cutters out and remove htis object ,just look at the amount of problems on this site alone and you will see they always give problems after a while and have to be removed ,the other problem is they stop working when temperatute drops as well ,these things are made in china from inferior micro chips and are just a waste of space and money
