SOURCE: Need to change the phone number on for my Motorola RAZR V3

Yes, that is exactly what it is. Both phones are at&t, therefore all u would have to do is change the sim card. If one was a different carrier, then it would get a little more complicated and you would need to unlock the device.

SOURCE: i need the subsidy password for att cell phone

Call ATT and ask for it. They will probably provide one for you, after all they're more interested in your monthly business than selling you a phone.

I have a motorola v3 razor and it's for t-mobile but I want to use a boost mobile sim card in it but it's asking for the subsidy password. Can u help me?

Your mobile is 'network or operator' locked to T-Mobile: in order to use it on another network like Boost, you will need to get your handset unlocked: you will need to request this 'unlock code' (e.g. subsidy password) from T-Mobile but they may charge you a fee for this service especially if you are still under contract.
Alternatively, you can also get your handset unlock for a small fee by a third party mobile phone service shop or online specialized unlocker specialist - this may of course invalidated your warranty!
Hope if helps.

I have an motorola razor v3 that doesn't have a contract right now and i want to unlock it and take it oversea. How to I unlock my motorola razor v3

The V3m is a CDMA phone, so it will be limited as to where it works internationally. Most countries use GSM technology, and the two are not compatible. Best advice is to go to a website like verizonwireless.com (CDMA carrier) and search international CDMA roaming (not GSM). If they don't offer CDMA international roaming in the country that you are going to, you will need to get an unlocked GSM phone.
Best advice at that point is to activate it with a carrier in the country that you are going to if you are going to use it mostly for local calls. If you want to use it as a way for people to keep in touch with you from the states, you can get a local number from a GSM carrier like ATT or TMobile. ATT has a waiting period for international roaming, so check with either carrier for clarification about that.
Hope that helps some.

MY RAZOR ASK FAR A SUBSIDY CODE

It usually says that if you have a sim chip in the phone that is from a different provider than the phone was sold for. To use this phone with a different provider you need a sim unlock.

You can get it from an online source, but they usually charge about 20 bucks. The best way to get it done for free is to find a local authorized retailler that has the provider you want to use the phone with. Some will unlock the phone for free if you sign a contract through them. Otherwse you will have to pay.
