Try selecting a smaller resolution. This may help you to shoot images but clearly there is a problem at the higher images size. Try also cleaning the contact on the memory card.

Error message: communication error

Hi,
Googling to solve the same problem with a Power Shot G12, I found a manual under ManualOwl -- on p.194 it says:
"Communication error: images could not be transferred to the computer or printed due to the large amount of images (aprox. 1000) stored on the memory card. Use a commercially available USB card reader to transfer the images. Insert the memory into the printer's card slot to print."
This worked for me. Hope it does the same for you.

I have tried to restore my computer and keep getting the message of failed reason Oxf0000005.

This is a message that is given with a blue screen? If so then it is a Common error message for Missing NTLDR. Reinstall OS again.
What version of Windows and how far into the Restore are you getting to when you get this issue?
Also, it could be an issue with the restore image/files that you are using that is causing the problem.

Bad image error message

Upon startup, one of the F keys, usually F4 through F8, will bring up a system repair screen, with a lot of options. Pick "Restore and Backup". Then Restore your computer to an earlier date. This will keep all your files and programs, and restore your registry and drivers to an earlier date when they worked. You probably got a virus, and this will get rid of it. Good luck, and hope this helps.

My Singer Futura keeps telling me that I have installed the small hoop and need to change it to the large hoop...but I have actually installed the large hoop. It is giving me an incorrect error message. I...

Make sure you have the latest software version. Current version you may check in About dialog under Help submenu and in the same submenu you wil find a function Live Update.
Also make sure you switch on the sewing machine either with the large hoop connected or without hoop. If sewing machine was switched on with the small hoop attached, it will provide this error message about wrong hoop.

Screen saver displaying unwanted message

This happens on monitors with a sleep type function. Make sure that the sleep mode is turned off and that it is set to never turn off inside of windows. Then the no signal error should not come on again.
