I tried to remove the tire from rims. I find it so hard to separate it. Tell me how it can be separate tire from rims.
You are much better off just buying the flat free drive tires with the wheel attached for @ 55 each. With that being said, the wheel will separate it takes a lot of elbow grease, a large flat head screwdriver and patience. Be very careful not to tear and/or stretch the tire bead and resist the temptation to spray lubrication of any sort to separate it. Again, call Hoveround or look on ebay and order two with the wheels.... you will be glad you did..
SOURCE: I have a mpv 5
Bird If you have help you can tilt the chair to the side of the good tire and place a block under the frame behind the flat tire set it down on the block to lift the flat tire off the ground enough for you to remove the bolt holding the tire on the axle remove the tire assembly and the rim is a split one remove the 4 nuts holing it together and remove the tire and tube to patch the tube then reverse the procedure to get it back together. Put grease or vaseline on the axle before you put the rim back on and then tighten the nut you should be rolling again Hope this helps
SOURCE: Bought 3 yr.old MPV4 with dead batteries and flat
You should be able to get batteries from the Company or a company that sells wheelchair batteries, as far as the tires, those type of wheelchair wheels are a lot smaller than standard wheels, I don't think you'd have much luck with that, they make tires that aren't foam filled, but are solid rubber wheels, and that would be more what you would need in that type of hoverround.. as for the manual, look online, go to their website, www.hoverround.com if not ask around. Good Luck

Try tightening the nuts that hold the wheels onto the chair. Make sure they are very tight.
SOURCE: Hoveround rear tire needs inflating
I don't think you have an MPV4. That model has 2 rear caster tires that are solid and require no inflation. The front drive tires have a valve stem sticking out of the center rim that is easily accessible. Make sure your power chair is gray and says Hoveround on it.
