Mom took pictures today but forgot that there wasn't a memory card in it. The pictures that she took really meant something to her and she wants to get them off the internal memory...help

you have to plug the power charger as well as the usb into the camera , also if you have the image saver software installed the camera comes up as canon F and you click on it for video (card) or internal memory , this should get mom's pic's downloaded.

I am trying to download pics to computer i have already downloded software etc and have successfully downloaded other pics from cam since i have added a memory card when I plug cable to download into...

Blinking light means your computer still in process reading your data from memory card. Higher capacity of memory card would make the computer need longer time to read it. Just be patient and don't unplug the USB cable.
If you think its too long, then you can unplug the cable data, put off the memory card and open in via card reader so you can download your pictures to PC.

I deleted approx 10 pics on my sony cybershot dsc-t77 internal camera memory by accidently formatting. How do I recover these photos as they are very important pictures to me? Thanks very much

I'm not sure if you can, but I can suggest something to try.

If the pics were deleted on a memory card, it would be straightforward to undelete them. You would put the card into a card reader attached to a computer and use an undelete program. There is such a program, free to download, that is especially good on card readers and other USB drives.

It is possible that this program will see your camera as a USB memory drive if you connect it with a USB cable. You must remove any memory card in the camera first, or the computer will see the card instead of the internal memory. Then run the undelete program and have it look for files on the drive that is your camera (if it can see it). If you did a format, you will have to use the "surface scan" function to find deleted files.

You can get the program from THIS LINK

Camera will not hold new pics. Even when internal

Could be the memory chip isn't working right. They are very sensitive to improper handling. I prefer to use the usb download cable rather than removing the card and inserting it into the computer. If you touch the gold contact fingers on the card, static electricity can damage it, personal experience. Some replacement chips have a lifetime guarantee, which I have used.
Try a new mem card, they are sort of cheap.
Also if you use the program that came with the camera, it might reset the functions on the chip.
Hope this helps.

Cannot download pic.s from camers to pc.

I would remove the memory card and use that to transfer the media to your pc.... I can't tell you why it is not showing up on any of the pc's. The only thing I can think of is possibly the usb cord is bad or that vivicam has special software you need to download. But you can definately get the media onto to your pc by bypassing the usb cord and remove the media from the card and place it in a folder on your pc .. hope this helps... good luck

Images saved to internal memory how do I download to my pc?

Use the supplied cable that came with the camera and also the program that came with the camera to download pics to your PC. Change the setting in the camera as to where the pics are stored (internal memory or memory card) and then use a card reader (Aptiva $9.95 at Staples) to put the memory card in and then plug into a USB port and download that way. Or you can still use the cable. If this has been helpful, please rate it accordingly. Thanks and good luck.

CAN I DOWNLOAD MY PICTURES WITHOUT USB CORD AND JUST WITH A MEMORY CARD ?

Yes, if your computer has an SD card slot. Most newer desktops and nearly all laptops do. Your camera also has 16 mb of internal memory though. You won't be able to pull them off without the USB cord. The cord you need is cheap enough though. You can probably to to a local Goodwill store and pick through the boxes of cables and wires and computer stuff that has been donated and find one for very little.

My USB cord quit working

If the pictures are stuck in your internal camera memory, you will need a cord to get them off unelss you can transfer them to your memory card first. You should be able to copy the pics there.

Sony Memory Stick Duo Adapter

When you download to the computer, what program do you open with? Try not using the auto-open feature, and open direct from new device in "my computer".
