What are the settings for a blind hem stitch? I've ordered the foot but can't find the settings. Singer 57815
I downloaded your manual for free at www.singerco.com and I be darned, I see why you are baffled. Call Singer at 1-800-4singer and ask them to tell you. This is a first for me to see in a machine that is not that old, my 45 year old Kenmore has the blind stitch setting. There has to be some answer to this.

You can download a manual from http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html, just type your model number into the search field to locate it then download the pdf file to your PC. This is a basic Zig zag machine so carefully follow the manual instructions to wind a bobbin, thread up and stitch, just make sure you follow the directions to wind a bobbin, and then put it in the right way and click the thread into the tension spring.

You can download a workbook for free at www.singerco.com but you have to pay $!5 to order a hard copy of the instruction manual from them. Take a look at the 5830 model on the singer site, it is free and the workbook is the same one they use for your model, so maybe you can luck out with this model's instruction book. Good luck, please let me know if I helped you. I am doing this for free and am not looking for money, I just like to help someone out of a jam.
