Fault to the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

Hey All thanks for info. Replaced main power board got it from Sears $177. A1763462B is the newer version of part which changed out easily. TV back to normal!

We had the same thing happen, it was the thermal fuse and cost us 400 to replace now it has been 6 mos. later and having the same problem. The part is only 22.00 but I am not sure I can replace it myself without messing up something else.
