SOURCE: How do you reboot the Denon AVR-2807 to factory settings
To reboot, turn receiver off by the small on/off button, not the big standby button. While off press the night and pure direct button at the same time and keep holding them with your right hand while pressing the small on/off button with your left. You will see your receiver menu flash. When you see it flash let go of the night and pure direct button and the receiver will reset it self to the radio station 87.50. The receiver's microprocessor has now been set back to factory. Enjoy this info is straight from Denon's Tech support. I had to do this on mine

If your amp looks like it's going to work as normal (ie the front display lights up as it should etc), but then the amp goes into protection mode when the anti-thud circuit times out, then I know what's likely to be wrong.
It's one of the power amplifier channels which has gone faulty.
I just found this out after having this problem with my AVR-1906.
I took the amp apart and de-soldered the suspected channel power transistors (centre channel in my case).....and hey-presto! it fired up as normal (obviously the centre channel would be out of service).
I have ordered the replacement transistors from Farnell (UK) at a miserly cost of around £2-£3 each.
Just waiting for them to arrive.
An alternative is, if you don't use all your channels, take the transistors from a known working but not needed channel and swap them over with the duff ones.
Hope thats of use!

think you can use AV multi out connector
SOURCE: Denon AVR-3805 zone 2 no longer working
If no sound coming through Zone 2, steps that worked are below. Layout: Denon AVR-988 running in 5.1 mode with patio speakers designated as Zone 2: 1) check that patio speaker wires are connected to Denon's back surround speaker terminals, 2) check "Menu then "Manual Setup" and scroll to check that "Amp Assign function is set to "Zone 2". You won't get Zone 2 sound unless this is chosen in this instance. Also check the volume settings in the "Manual Setup" to ensure you haven't turned sound down by -40 DB or limited it. Now try turing on Zone 2 sound either on front panel or on rear of remote. If you still have no sound, what worked for me is there's a Zone 2/Rec Out pushbutton on front left top panel by round input knob. This must be set to "Zone 2 Source" and not "Rec Out Source".to avoid diverting the signal to the Rec Out jacks. Keep turning the input select button until it reads "Zone 2 Source". Then turn on and this should route the signal to your Zone 2 speakers. srhfish

No, you would be better off sending the video signal from your sources(satellite, digital cable,DVD,BluRay player, any digital HD source, etc.)directly to your Samsung TV, and then use the fiber optic output from the TV to transfer the audio signal to your Denon receiver, or another way is to send all video signal to your TV and send all audio signal to your Denon receiver seperately, keep in mind that there really isn't a good reason to send video into a Denon receiver, that processes sound not picture! Good Luck !
