Does it have a reset button or a fuse? check as some units have one or the other. Also check power cord to see if it is not apart as well check the plug itself. Could be the unit itself not working.

Thomas pacconi # tpc-mse-800-o (no power)why is there no power getting through hole unit?

Since you have no sound even on radio, it's not going to be a bad tt motor. There is no fuse except for a thermal fuse inside power transformer. I would start with a continuity check accross both of the blades on the plug. If it's open, you prob have a bad power transformer.

I get an error code e1 and have cleaned and replaced the filter. Runs for a couple minutes then shuts of with same message. Any ideas?

1 DISCONECT THE POWER PLUG FROM POWER SUPPLY 2 CLEAN FILTER 3 HOLD DOWN THE POWER ON/OF BUTON ON THE UNIT AND PLUG THE UNIT KEEP PRESSING UNTILL IT EMITS A BEEP SOUND FOR APROX 5 SECONDS 4 DISCONECT POWER AND PLUG AGAIN
IF THAT DOES NOT WORK 1 DISCONECT UNIT 2 HOLD DOWN THE MODE KEY ON THE PAD OF THE UNIT AND PLUG THE UNIT KEEP PRESSING UNTIL IT EMITS A BEEP SOUND APROX 3 SECONDS THE UNIT WILL START. 3 STOP THE UNITS OPERATION BY PRESING ON/OF 4 RESTART UNIT.

I have a Sharp portable room air conditioner model CV-P10NC. The power plug RESET button and TEST button will not click in order to check out the power plug as the unit will not turn on. They did test O.K....

the fused9G.F.C.I.) cord you speak of is probably the G.F.C.I. built onto these units by design, can you or someone you know get access inside the unit and :Hot-Wire" the units cord and, bypass the power cord ( Just To Test the Unit)and see if it stays operational then replace bad unit cord if this is it.

Window unit will not power up

You need to check for voltage to the display. Just knowing the plug is working doesn't tell you that the electronics are getting power. It is possible that the power cord is bad. Once you have tested the unit and the unit is actually getting power to the display, then it's probably the control board in this unit.

Possible solution that is not mentioned by customer service- is just a small thing- unplug unit- let rest for 30 mins, HOLD POWER BUTTON DOWN FIRST THEN PLUG BACK IN- hold for 30 secs, unplug for 30, the plug back in.

Unit will not power up.

Make sure that the unit is not in hibernation mode....
1. How old is it
2. Does the power box on the power cord have a green light?
3. Remove the battery...replace the battery....plug in the unit and let it charge for an hour.

Ac unit not powering / starting up

Did you try to plug a lamp into the same outlet as you have the A/C plugged into? It could be that you have no power at the outlet or the circuit breaker could be off or tripped. Something should run like the fan only position.

Lowrance 3500 color map GPS

Not sure about these but try holding the on / off button in for about 30 seconds. The TOMTOM resets when you do this, maybe the 3500 does the same?

Lost power- will not come back on

If you have a multimeter you should be able to check the out voltage on the powersupply to make sure the power cable isn't at fault. You may also try wigling the power cord a little bit to see if the unit will then get power. If so you have a faulty powercord. If there are any fuses they should usually be accessible from the outside; that's the point with them - they should be easy to change. I would put my money on the power cable. If you have access to a diferent power source try that out. If the unit works with a different power source your power source is at fault. If it still doesn't work the problem is within your unit. Check to see if any pins on the power source and/or the units power plug might be bent or dirty.
