My hannspree lcd tv wont turn on but have a power lighthannspree tv repair

To program a Hannspree remote to a Hannspree TV, first turn on the TV and then press and hold the "Code" button on the remote until the LED light turns on.

Next, enter the four-digit code for the TV using the number keys on the remote. If the TV turns off, press the "Code" button to save the code. If it doesn't turn off, try another code until you find one that works.

If you cannot find the four-digit code for your Hannspree TV, you can try using the code search feature on the remote. To do this, follow the steps for programming the remote but instead of entering a code, press and release the "Code" button and then press the "Power" button repeatedly until the TV turns off. Then, press the "Code" button to save the code.

If you are having trouble programming the remote, make sure you are aiming the remote directly at the TV and that you are not too far away. Also, check that the batteries in the remote are fresh and properly installed.

If you accidentally program the remote to the wrong TV or if you want to program it to a different TV, you can reset the remote to its default settings by pressing and holding the "Code" button for at least three seconds until the LED light turns off. This will erase any previously programmed codes.

It was damaged by the water.

Remove power for about 30 seconds and try again.

I have same model tv but power supply board is faulty. I am in India. Any suggestions for repair or replace the power supply board.

I would get the TV replaced under guarantee. There maybe a loose wire in the power supply or invertor stages that is arcing and burning

I have a Hannspree 42" LCD and I have the exact same problem, the code worked to control all functions except "Power On". I checked the Hannspree web site's support section, it says that their TVs will not work with a universal remote unless you have DirecTV. So why does everything work except to turn it on if they claim their TVs do not work with other remotes?

try this

press tv button (lights up red)

hold setup button for 10 seconds (tv button blinks twice)

enter code 10030

Press power button on top right. If tv turns off your good

If it doesnt work follow steps above but try these other codes 11348, 11745, 11783

You should ensure that 1) the monitor is plugged in, 2) it is set to the proper input (VGA, HDMI, etc), and 3) the monitor power light is green instead of orange.
