SOURCE: testing batteries for E300s scooters

You haven't given me much information, Wendy, such as why you want to test them, or if they are in the scooter. I'll presume that they are not connected, and that you think there may be a fault in the scooter. To test them you will need a multimeter, and if you own ones of these you would know how to test the batteries. They are too expensive to buy for a one-off job, and I won't confuse you by telling you hoe to set up a test lamp.......Hook up the batteries to the scooter and see if it works....Don't forget that the red wire goes to the POSITIVE ( or Plus ) terminal, and the black wire goes to the NEGATIVE ( or Minus) terminal. If you are still having trouble, take the battery to a battery supplier and ask him to check it for you. Please don't forget to rate this answer.

E300

Im not sure I understand your question. The E300 runs on 2 batteries at a time and they recharge in the unit. To replace them clnnect one + to the other - and the remaining + and - to the unit.

E300 electric scooter battery,

The scooter uses batteries specifically designed for deep discharge applications. If your new batteries are not lasting then they may only be suitable for standby or backup type applications like for your house alarm system or garage door opener when the mains power goes out.

Do UPG 12 volt 7ah batteries work as good as "RAZOR BRAND" Batteries? My scooter is an e300.Do you know if by chance, the e300 scooter needs razor batteries only?I got generic ones, and they are terrible

No. We get batteries from a local supplier and they work just as well. are by far the most common problem with razors because people dont keep them charged.

E300s razor

Note the charger doesn't turn itself off. It will only signal batteries are charged. You can overcharge these batteries by leaving them on the charger for too long. Suggested by retailer is two hours maximum.
Any case, Jackson Mack is correct on all counts there.
If the light is green on the charger, and the scooter still doesn't go, there might be some other issue besides the batteries themselves like loose wiring, fuse switch, etc.

Hi there,My girls Razor E300 is a year old wont fully charge...

My guess is the batteries have gone bad. They only last about a year before they need to be replaced. You can buy them fairly cheap off of Ebay.

I replaced new battery but still the scooter runs slow

The Razor E300 electric scooters are battery operated scooters and can run at 15 miles per hour. This is enough to produce the best fun for kids while on their free time. It's a quiet worker, and with that speed, you won't get scared of the child going too fast to be prone to accident. Yet, it is still good to take precautions. Let the kid wear a helmet, foremost, because this can protect the head should accidents happen.

Your scooter may need new batteries, or a controller. To check these components functionality you will need a volt meter. Check the current coming out of the batteries, check the current going into the batteries and both should read in the 12.5-14 volt range. If your charger, ore the charger connection is faulty you will need wiring, or a charge port. If your batteries are faulty, you will need batteries. Check your controller with a volt meter, or a test light to see that all connections are secure and the controller is functioning properly. If you need parts or repairs done, you can visit this Electric Scooters Parts Store Online with "Find a Repair Shop" feature.
