Im not sure I understand your question. The E300 runs on 2 batteries at a time and they recharge in the unit. To replace them clnnect one + to the other - and the remaining + and - to the unit.

My guess is the batteries have gone bad. They only last about a year before they need to be replaced. You can buy them fairly cheap off of Ebay.

You haven't given me much information, Wendy, such as why you want to test them, or if they are in the scooter. I'll presume that they are not connected, and that you think there may be a fault in the scooter. To test them you will need a multimeter, and if you own ones of these you would know how to test the batteries. They are too expensive to buy for a one-off job, and I won't confuse you by telling you hoe to set up a test lamp.......Hook up the batteries to the scooter and see if it works....Don't forget that the red wire goes to the POSITIVE ( or Plus ) terminal, and the black wire goes to the NEGATIVE ( or Minus) terminal.
